Paleo Protein Pudding
You are two weeks into your new way of eating, sans consuming donuts and ice cream and cake on the regular. You're looking for a sweet treat to quench the craving, and an apple just won't cut it. Look no further than Paleo Protein Pudding! This recipe is courtesy of Patrick Fung. Thank you, Patrick!
Ingredients (There are only 4 ingredients. This is the easiest.):
- 1 scoop unsweetened chocolate powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Plant Fusion, a plant based vegan protein. Note that is DOES contain quinoa powder which is not allowed in the Whole Life Challenge Performance Level, but it is nutritious and perfectly fine just the same.)
- 1 frozen banana (freezing the banana helps keep the pudding consistency)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- Blend the unsweetened chocolate powder, chocolate protein powder, frozen banana, and almond milk in a blender. (Start with 1/4 cup almond milk and gradually add more to the preferred consistency.)
- Eat and Enjoy!
I plan on replacing my post-workout protein shake with Paleo Protein Pudding once or twice a week and document any changes in my performance and overall energy. Comment below if you try this recipe or already make your own Paleo Protein Pudding! I would love to see what you think!
